In our fifth activity myofunctional training we are going to practice the Nasal OpeningThe nose is blocked when breathing through the mouth.

The steps to follow are as follows:

  1. Close your lips and keep them relaxed.
  2. Inhale and exhale through the nose.
  3. Hold your breath while pinching your nose with your fingers and start walking normally.
  4. Count the steps we take until we need to breathe through our nose again.
  5. Each breath should be taken through the nose. Not by mouth.

By repeating this activity we will learn to breathe comfortably through the nose and stop breathing through the mouth.
