Each device within the Invisalign palatal expander system it is customized according to the patient's unique anatomy based on a 3D digital scanning Align's iTero™. A treatment plan and appliance design are then created using Align's proprietary AI-powered orthodontic software.

The Invisalign Palatal Expander system is currently available It is currently available in a limited way in Canada (except Quebec) and is expected to be available in other markets after receiving regulatory approvals., from 2024 onwards.
