Statistics show that 7.4% of children have primary snoring during sleep and between 2% and 4% have obstructive sleep apnoeas or hypoapnoeas syndrome (OSAHS), according to the Spanish Society of Pneumology and Thoracic Surgery (Separ). This snoring is often a symptom of sleep apnoea syndrome, which has a direct impact on the child's quality of life.
How can they affect you?
They can cause cardiovascular disease, arrhythmias, high blood pressure, pulmonary hypertension, hypersweating, night-time urine leakage and growth retardation, adenoid hypertrophy, tonsillitis, headaches, postural problems, as well as behavioural and learning problems.
Sleep apnoea occurs when the patient sleeps and breathes through the mouthIn the dorsal decubitus position, therefore the tongue makes contact in the oropharyngeal region interrupting breathing, as the system thinks that the individual is swallowing, but this is not the case. This results in the patient becoming apnoeic, CO2 saturation increases, cardiac activity increases and the lungs stop.
For all these reasons it is of the utmost importance to treat as soon as possible.
With the treatment RFA-Human Body Total Care the patient's breathing will be treated with lip closure, with slow and deep breathing, for 180 days, which implies a commitment on the part of the parents and the implementation of a simple protocol. In this way we will regulate the blood clogging capacity, cardiac activity, blood flow pressure, the amount of oxygen in haemoglobin, red blood cells, haemoglobin-oxygen affinity, haematopoiesis, excretory functions of the kidneys, intestinal tract and perspiration.
